Description268 photographs of plant and machinery produced by Lawrence Hathaway, Member of IMechE, at his Trinity Pumps Company, Gobowen. The company produced floating pumps which were first used in fire engines and then cars.

Also, 33 images related to Coventry Climax Engines (L Hathaway Ltd), where Hathaway worked during Second World War [WWII], and Pentre Wern Works showing engine tests, workshops, engines and group portraits of staff at Pentre.

Two of the images we taken at Le Mans and are of Stirling Moss - Hathaway also raced cars and took part in Le Mans with Moss in 1955. There is also a photo of Hathaway.

Hathaway's relation Miss Richards also worked at Climax and there is a letter about her employment with the items. In adidtion, newspaper obituaries.
